Another option on the poll is tree trivia/identification. I really enjoy learning tree species, and would love to share that knowledge with you--if you're interested, of course. I would post an image of a leaf, and possibly one of the matching bark or other identifiers, along with the common and scientific name and maybe some fun facts. Again, this would be an occasional thing, perhaps weekly.

Finally, I apologize for the lack of book reviews lately. :/ I've been beta reading a very long, very good book, and haven't had time for much else. Keep an eye on this guy. He's got some amazing stuff coming your way.
In the poll I voted for book reviews, but honestly, photos are always welcome and the tree trivia/identification would actually be really cool since I embarrassingly know nothing about them. Also, it's not like it's unrelated to your blog (poetree), so why not? :)
ReplyDeleteI've also been taking a really long time to read a book that I should probably be done by now, so I know what it feels like!
Also, that cake looks yummy.
Thanks for the feedback, Hanna! I'm such a slow reader anyway, so when I get into an exceptionally long book, it seems like it takes me forever. The cake is a chocolate coconut pecan cake that I made either for mother's day or my mom's birthday a few years back and, sadly, I haven't made it since. It's definitely the prettiest thing I've ever baked. :)
