wake up, oh heart,
awaken
take note!
the world is not dead
no,
the golden evening light
though fading
captivates you, enlivens you
reminding of the beauty held
in every atom waiting
to be noticed
see!
breathe!
the world is alive
and so should you be

      Thanks! It's interesting to read eveyone's perspective on it -- I'm not sure "joyful" or "celebratory" are words I would have used to describe this poem, but now that you all have pointed it out, it is rather joyful and celebratory. :)
